LR: Could you explain - having seen the trailer and possibly the whole movie - why it was such a box office FLOP? Try to write about 10 sentences including a description of the target audience and any role this might have had on it not being a success.
I think it was a box office flop because the right audience came to watch the the film on its debut but didnt get enough people coming to see it so they spent a large portion of money on a movie that didn't profit.

Medium close up -this medium close up lets us see the characters face and a little bit of background and by the army looking suits they are wearing it lets the audience know that they are the protagonist in this scene and the man in the front .

This is a long shot and it allows us to see some background so that the audience can get a understanding of what is going on in this scene. In this scene you can see a man in the right hand corner running towards the car as it looks like it has smoke coming out of it and he might be trying to put it out.

This shot is a close up and lets the audience get a feel of the characters emotion in this scene, he doesn't look to happy and in the background you can see a door but they also blurred it out so that the audience would still focus on the main thing going on in the picture this shows that he is more important in this scene but the door might be involved in the next scene.

BOX OFFICE INFORMATION:
Mars Needs Moms was a failure and has the worst box-office reception for a Disney-branded film. It earned only $1,725,000 on its first day, for a weekend total of $6,825,000. This is the 15th worst opening ever for a film playing in 3000+ theaters. Even adjusted for inflation, considering the total net loss of money (not the profit to loss ratio), it was still the fifth largest box office bomb in history.[15][16] In 2014, the LA Times listed the film as one of the most expensive box office flops of all time.[17] On March 14, 2011, Brook Barnes of The New York Times commented that it was rare for a Disney-branded film to do so badly, with the reason for its poor performance being the subject (a mother kidnapped from her child), the style of animation, which fails to cross the uncanny valleythreshold, and negative word of mouth on social networks, along with releasing it on the same week as Battle: Los Angeles which had more hype with the general movie goers. Barnes concluded, "Critics and audiences alike, with audiences voicing their opinions on Twitter, blogs and other social media, complained that the Zemeckis technique can result in character facial expressions that look unnatural. Another common criticism was that Mr. Zemeckis focuses so much on technological wizardry that he neglects storytelling.

CRITICAL RECEPTION:Rotten Tomatoes reported that 37% of critics gave the film a positive review, based on reviews from 111 critics, with an average rating of 5 out of 10. The critical consensus was: "The cast is solid and it's visually well-crafted, but Mars Needs Moms suffers from a lack of imagination and heart. Metacritic assigned an average critical score of 49 out of 100 based on 22 reviews

My fruit bowl is a based on a rich kind of expensive theme and i thought gold bars, money, and a rapper that is reasonable for the expensive theme;i also tried to stick to darker colors for the fruits, and had a black border so that everything in the middle will stand out.
